   IC INBOX: THE JORMUN

After the islanders' assistance with a rather harrowing event in January 2017, the Jormun returned to the ocean depths - but not without leaving behind a Schovskal through which their allies might contact them. The Schovskal is a large conch shell; standing at five feet high and seven feet long, this mammoth of a shell is set on Islet 4 and can be used to call the Jormun for trading or to assist with sea explorations.

The Jormun are also happy to discuss current islands characters may be exploring and will do their best to offer their assistance where they may, so feel free to blow that horn and wait for a Jormun to visit you from below!

[Here he is, floating on his raft just off the shore of Islet 4 near the Schovskal.

Theoretically, he blew the shell to ask for some help. Realistically, he brought some joints because he got weed from Ichimatsu and it's rude to ask people for help without offering something in return.]

(They cannot summon the Jormun on their own: they have no lungs or mouth with which to blow the Schovskal. However, another they have spoken with, Alexei, has also expressed concern for the fate of the native societies of this world.

It is simple to arrange for him to meet them, to blow the horn.
