IC INBOX: THE JORMUN

After the islanders' assistance with a rather harrowing event in January 2017, the Jormun returned to the ocean depths - but not without leaving behind a Schovskal through which their allies might contact them. The Schovskal is a large conch shell; standing at five feet high and seven feet long, this mammoth of a shell is set on Islet 4 and can be used to call the Jormun for trading or to assist with sea explorations.
The Jormun are also happy to discuss current islands characters may be exploring and will do their best to offer their assistance where they may, so feel free to blow that horn and wait for a Jormun to visit you from below!

If anything, they're more than a bit dire.
It's a bit overwhelming but not altogether unmanageable; certainly no weirder than the concept of ringing a bell and summoning a jellyfish god, anyway, and if people can manage that where he's from, then he can manage this.
And once it's done...well, waiting indeed.]
You're certain this will work, correct?

(They hadn't been there for them, but they know it has.
If it for some reason does not this time, that will be ... disquieting.)

Hail and well met, land dwellers. Is there something you need? [ The shell is used for certain purposes, after all. ]

(Though this other says well met, Legion does not think that sentiment will last.)
You are authorized to speak and receive messages on behalf of your people?

I am.
What is it you wish to convey?

This world is dying. Your people are in danger.

The gods are moving. So too is the sea...
Do they discuss the fate of our home?
no subject
It is increasingly clear that this world will die regardless of what is done. The gods disagree as the appropriate course of action.
The Storyteller is willing to assist those lifeforms native to this world.
(They chatter. It's a low, growling sound.)
The Historian sees this world as an abomination, and seeks to destroy every part of it. They referred to the sapient inhabitants as "nothing".
